ABOUT
Liz Skollar is a New York City-based public relations strategist who represents clients in theater, music, food, film, fashion, art, nightlife, and more.
A lifelong New Yorker, born and raised in Manhattan, Liz has a voracious appetite for culture and a love for championing artists and projects looking to enlarge their presence in the entertainment and hospitality landscapes.
Liz has always had a knack for networking and a passion for promotion. While attending Hunter College as a theater major, she began working in the off-Broadway and New York concert scene at age 18, observing the marketing and management requirements for shows and events at Union Square’s Daryl Roth Theater and Irving Plaza.
Under the mentorship of Judy Katz at the Broadway press company Katz PR, Liz secured and oversaw media opportunities for talent like Bernadette Peters and David Hasselhoff. Now leading her own boutique public relations agency, Skollar PR, Liz works with a spectrum of clients who value her clear communication, fierce work ethic, and valuable ongoing partnership.
Liz provides a range of fresh approaches to press visibility. She arranges for appearances and profiles, reviews and interviews, press releases and social media posts, and consistently innovative collaborations. As a boutique press agency, Skollar PR offers its clients the kind of committed, concentrated time and attention larger organizations cannot — at a competitive price point.
Past and current clients include Broadway Records, Abingdon Theatre Company, Jaime Lozano, Michael Longoria (Jersey Boys), Chris Mann (Phantom of the Opera), Ray Mercer (The Lion King), and Mia Pinero (Sweeney Todd), among many others.
Liz is ambitious, in love with her work, and eager to assist new and longtime clients in creating the career opportunities that allow them to thrive.
